Maars Resort, Zanzibar

The Maars Resort offers a peaceful atmosphere with spacious, recently renovated bungalows that provide an excellent view of the ocean. However, some areas need serious maintenance, and the dining experience left something to be desired. The location is surrounded by beautiful greenery but the beach conditions were not ideal for swimming. Overall, it's a decent spot for relaxation with family, but improvements are necessary.

Our stay here was filled with disappointment, primarily due to the state of the facilities and the service. While the rooms were somewhat clean, the odor and overall condition were unacceptable. The dining options were poor, and service left much to be desired. I would not recommend this hotel if you're looking for a pleasant beach getaway.
